Public Transport – Bus
For trips starting from Valletta you can catch a bus from the bus terminal in Valletta . Buses N° 51, 52 and 53 run leave Valletta every 10 minutes and take you to Mdina in about half an hour. The price of the ticket is €2.60 per person and is valid all day. Tickets may be purchased on the bus or at one of the ticket machines at the bus terminal.
TIP: No buses enter Mdina itself but you can get off at Rabat, just outside the Mdina Gate and its just 500 metres on foot to the Mdina historic centre.
